The Ladies Alternative Connection group was established by Melanie Schmidt in November of 2007. The primary goal was to create an open and non judgemental forum for ladies to share ideas and tips; different and alternative options to typical issues and topics are key parts of the discussion. The desire is that each lady determines which ideas, alternative options, and/or tips are worth trying and conducive to her family.
Meetings are held the first Monday night of each month. Focus is around a specific topic with either a guest speaker and/or group round table discussion. Group members also share upcoming events that may be of interest; swap magazines, books, coupons and recipes.
